“King of a Small Empire” was one of the longform feature stories for the first issue of Synapse, a UNC student-run tablet magazine. The opening page allows you to scroll through the first part of the story. Once users reach a certain point in the story, the background picture changes. The first three backgrounds featured pictures of George King and his property. The fourth page included an illustration of his tow truck with more detailed information and charts about the towing complaints he received.
